Founded in 2005, Scimetrica has been active in IT development and digital communication for science. In June 2007, Scimetrica became a limited company (GmbH). Our core mission is to provide reliable platforms that connect researchers, institutions, and industry, and to support the visibility of academic knowledge.

Over the years, Scimetrica has developed and expanded the myScience network, which today operates national portals in several countries to promote research, career opportunities, and scientific news. In parallel, Scimetrica created and maintains UniversityRankings.ch, a platform that consolidates data from major global university ranking systems and presents it in a transparent, comparative format for academia, students, and decision-makers.
