Scimetrica has developed various solutions to manage different data sources with aggregators and search engines.

Aggregators

Aggregators are small search engines that retrieve specific information from the Web, clean the data and store it in a database. This data can then be used for different projects. News from various sources on myScience is usually aggregated first, then presented on the website.

Examples of search engines

Smartwine.ch is a search engine that finds and classifies products (wines) in categories (300,000 references for around 500,000 documents and registered pages).

myScience.org/search: the myscience.org database is fully indexed using the sphinxsearch API.
